A cave explorer has gone viral for getting stuck in a dark, cold cave, something that has brought other daredevils to near-death experiences. In the 21-minute video, onlookers were unsure if he would be able to escape.
The cave explorer seen in the video is an identical twin of the YouTube channel “ActionAdventureTwins”, named Edward. Edward and his brother James post fear-inducing videos that have garnered over 130 million views and 600,000 subscribers.
Edward can be heard saying that he thought the cave was getting wider, but it was just an illusion. The water was so still that it reflected the entire cave. In the full video, he keeps trying to push through the enclosure even though he could barely move or breathe. It had been raining throughout the day, and the possibility of flooding was high.

After digging the small rocks underneath him, Edward was able to turn around and gain full movement of his body. The first thing he did was call for his brother, who was waiting behind with harnesses and gear. They continued the rest of their video exploring the cave and finding items people have left behind before. They were both able to climb out of the cave with a rope unscathed and safe.
The two brothers have gotten stuck multiple times in separate videos, as seen on their channel. Although Edward and James were able to escape freely, their videos still hold a cautionary tale similar to the Nutty Putty Incident.

26-year-old John Jones was a cave adventurer just like Edward and James. Jones and his brother decided to take on the Nutty Putty Cave with nine friends who all had previous experience. Unfortunately, Jones took a wrong turn towards a portion of the cave that appeared to get wider. It was a dead end. Before he knew it, he was trapped more than 100 feet below the ground. Rescuers were not able to reach him and he sadly passed away. The cave was closed off indefinitely, with his body still in the ground.
