With a staggering 650 wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, John Cena has set a Guinness World Record and left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of many.
From his early days in the WWE in 2002 to his current status as a Hollywood superstar, Cena has never wavered in his commitment to bringing joy to children facing life-threatening illnesses. In fact, he holds the record for the most wishes granted by a single person. The runner-up has only granted a mere 200 wishes compared to Cena’s.

“I don’t have the words to convey the admiration I have for John Cena as a human being.”
Paul Heyman states in a podcast
Cena’s motive behind helping the children pose questions by many. Some celebrities commit charitable actions in order to gain praise from the public eye. This results in a “PR stunt” that only holds purpose to bring attention to the celebrity. Although publicity stunts are rampant in the entertainment industry, this is not applicable to Cena. He never wanted the Make-A-Wish visits available to the public and protected the situation from being exploited. He changed his mind to bring awareness to the foundation and hoped to inspire more people to contribute and donate.
Even though Cena has now stepped away from WWE and started to explore opportunities in acting, he still puts time aside to work with Make-A-Wish. The impacts made on these children and their families are immeasurable. His commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation have made him a true hero.
